Halloween

We have enjoyed lots of fun things with family and friends. Football games, dinner, halloween parties, and just hanging out. My dad was in town this last week and we had so much fun. He is driving oil truck in North Dakota and we only get to see him for a week at a time, every 5 weeks or so:( I hate that he is gone and really hope he doesn't have to do it much longer. We road the front runner down to City Creek and got some dinner and hung out with the family. Here are some pictures from the last couple months. I hope it's not too much

Where has the time gone. The last couple of months have come and gone in the blink of an eye. So many fun things have happened. Taytum is growing up and becoming independent:( I had to wean Taytum of breast feeding at 7 and a half months. I was prescribed a face cream that is a chemo therapy treatment for some spots on my face. I am so sad I had to wean her for that reason. She did so good with taking the bottle. I was so nervous because she wouldn't touch a bottle for the longest time. I would have loved to go a full year. Next Taytum got her first tooth around 7 and a half months and also started crawling around 8 months. The same day she started crawling she started standing on her own. She loves us to help her up and then she lets go of our hands. Now at almost 9 months she is pulling herself up on everything. She thinks she is so big. Taytum loves all food and there isn't really anything we have found that she doesn't like. I hope she continues this way and doesn't follow in her mama's footsteps of being picky:/
Jon and I have enjoyed our first 9 months of being parents and love seeing our little baby grow each day. Taytum loves her daddy (especially when he sings to her) Jon has a way of making up songs that just keep her attention and put a smile on her face. I love it.

Happy Anniversary

I've never had a faster 2 years in my life. It has been the best two years of my life and I am so grateful for Jon. He is the best husband and daddy I could ask for. He puts up with so much and does it with a smile on his face. Thanks for everything babe, I love you!!
We were so lucky to spend our 2 year anniversary at Lagoon with Jon's family. It was a lot of fun and Taytum did sooo good. She was such a trooper and loved the train ride. We didn't do much for each other this year because we just moved and we figure the new washer and dryer and new couch is plenty:) I am so happy with our new house and I love it more and more every day. We now live in West Haven. It is so much closer to both of our jobs too. I feel like my writing skills are seriously lacking lately. This post sounds like a 10 year old wrote it:/ I'll blame it on being in a hurry. Oh and I just noticed since we had Taytum, we have no pictures of just Jon and me. It's all about Taytum haha.

6 months and everything else

I'm such a slacker. But let me try and get caught up. First off......Taytum is 6 months old???? Where does time go, I swear time is going faster than ever. Taytum is growing and learning new things every day and it is so fun to watch her. I am so lucky to get to take her to work and spend all my time with her. She is sitting up, rolling over, laughing. We don't have any site of teeth yet and I'm ok with that. Even with no teeth, those gums can hurt pretty bad when she bites down while eating:/ Can't imagine with teeth, ouch!! I have been so lucky to still be breastfeeding and its going great still. We have started feeding Taytum solids and she LOVES it. We have tried pee's, squash, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans. She loves it all and I can't wait to try more. I actually got domestic and made green beans for her. She loved them and I can't wait to make more. We had Taytum's 6 month appointment, it went so good. She is right on track and growing like a weed.

4 months!!!

Yes, as you can see all of my blogging since February is about my little angel:) Thats because she is our world and we haven't done a whole lot since we have had Taytum. The last 2 months have been so fun. Taytum is starting to giggle, she has definitely found her hands and loves sucking on them. Taytum has started blowing bubbles like crazy and I love it. Before I had her I hated getting other little babies slobber on me. I now could care less how much slobber I get on me, I think it is so cute.
Taytum has decided that she doesn't really care to sleep through the night anymore. She wakes up at least twice. I have no idea why. She started sleeping through the night at 2 months and now it stopped cold turkey. Maybe it's a growth spurt or something. I sure hope she gets back on track cause this momma is dying with no sleep.
We had Taytum's 4 month checkup on the 12th and she did so well. I hate those nasty shots and so did she, but she calmed right down when I snuggled her. At her 2 month appointment they noticed her neck was tight on one side and she preferred looking to the right. We have gone to the physical therapist twice and her neck is now a ton better. Although at this last appointment her pediatrician noticed her trunk is still curved to the right a little bit. We had to get spine x-rays on Friday:( I am worried sick and just hope it's nothing serious. She said it could be nothing besides tight muscles on that side but it could be scoliosis, one side of her body could be a hair bigger than the other side (which is genetic, and my left side is a hair bigger than my right) or she could have something more serious but I can't remember the name of it, some big long medical term. The latter of the 3 is something that could cause tumors to grow on her kidneys. I have been kind of freaking out about this and can't imagine something being wrong with my perfect little girl. Hopefully we will find out today what the x-rays show.

Blessing

I have been feeling like the luckiest person in the world lately. I have thee BEST husband and daughter. I could not ask for a better family, including my parents, sisters, bro-in-laws, sis-in-laws, nieces and in-laws. Mother's Day this year was special of course. It was my first and I was able to share this special day with my little girl. Jon gave the most beautiful blessing. It was short and sweet and so precious. I am so grateful to be a mother and can not wait to watch my little girl grow and also be able to add to our family in the future. I would like to give a special thanks to my mom and Jon's mom for putting together a great luncheon after the blessing. Also, everyone who brought stuff.

Taytum is growing so much and finding new things everyday. She figured out how to blow bubbles, how to stick her tongue out and she is learning how to grab things. I can't believe my little girl is coming up on 4 months old. I love her to pieces and can't imagine my life without her.

2 Months!!!

So crazy our little Taytum is already 2 months old. Time flies but at the same time it feels like she has been a part of our family for so long. She has been such a joy to have in our family. She just got her shots today and it was the first tear that I have seen come out of her little eyes. We have been so blessed with a happy baby. She never cries, seriously never. She fusses a little if she is getting really hungry and I am not hurrying fast enough or if she gets cold when I get her out of the bath.
Taytum has been on a pretty regular schedule of going to bed at 9:30, waking at 3:30 to eat and then up at 6:30 to eat, which works great for me. I just started working again at the first of April and I have to be there at 7:30am. Taytum has slept through the night a few times and I am waiting to see a trend in that:)
I am so blessed with the job I have. I am a nanny and get to take my little girl with me to work. No daycare and still a paycheck coming in. Can't go wrong right?? Ok I am not gonna lie, it has been kinda rough on me. I nanny a 3 yr old and a 5 month old along with Taytum. Feels like twins most of the time and gets stressful when I am feeding Taytum and the little boy starts to scream for attention:-] I am starting to get schedules figured out though.

Taytum is smiling so much and starting to make all kinds of coos and noises. I absolutely love waking up in the morning to my little girl smiling from ear to ear. I don't want her to get any bigger, time is going to fast. She has a mild case of reflux, but I think we have it under control. She eats a lot better but is still spitting up quite a bit. She never seems to be in pain though.
 Last but not least, Jon is a loving on this little one so much and I can't get enough of it. I can't wait until she is old enough to "hang" out with him, I know she will be a little daddy's girl.
