Vegas and Valentines

This last weekend I had a soccer tournament in Las Vegas. We decided it was our little Valentines get away as well. The weekend was perfect (minus taking second place). I love my husband sooo much. He is so sweet to me and would do anything for me. He surprised me with some flowers, a teddy bear and the President Monson biography before we left. I have wanted to read that book for awhile and I can't wait to start it. We pretty much had 3 days of Valentines. I was able to spend every minute of it with my best friend. He was such a good sport and sat through all 6 of my soccer games. One was at 8 in the morning and he was the only husband to show up to that one. Thanks Babe!!! One girl even called him the Super Husband:)
We went out for sushi the first night, I don't like sushi, but I tried it and I ended up really liking one of the rolls. On Saturday night we went out to Outback with the team and that was delicious. On sunday we were able to go shopping in between the 1st and 2nd game and then between the 2nd and 3rd game we were able to squeeze in a manicure:) Sunday night we went to Pf Changs with some good friends (that place is amazing, I love the lettuce wraps) After that we went and walked down Fremont street. There are so many strange people there. Jon said, "I have never felt so out of place in my life." That was true, but still a good time.
We woke up Monday morning and headed home. Oh I forgot to mention, if you ever want a drive to go by quick just read a good book. We started the Larry H. Miller book on the way down. I read it out loud so Jon could hear. We just about finished it by the time we got home. It made the drive go by quick and we both loved the book so much.
Thank you Jon for being the person you are and for making this Valentines day the best ever! I love you!!!
Here are just a few pictures. I charged my camera before we left and when I went to use it, it wouldn't work:( Jon took a few on his phone.
We got upgraded to this suite for no reason. They couldn't find our name when we went to check in, and told us they upgraded us.
The only one from soccer. I wished I got one of Jon and I but this is all I got
My gross legs after 6 games on turf fields
This is the sushi roll I liked. It has tempura shrimp in it, so none of that rubbery raw fish:)
Kinda hard to see. Fremont street and crazy people. The guy who actually took this was dressed up like one of the Kiss singers. Real creepy
